American model Allison Brooks Janney was born November 19th, 1959. Throughout her career of three decades, Allison Brooks Janney has received recognition as a stage actress and a film actor for her performances. Janney was the winner of several awards. These include the Academy Award, a British Academy Film Award along with several others. Also, she received seven Primetime Emmy Awards. Also, there were nominations for the two Tony Awards. Janney was born and raised in Dayton, Ohio. She was born in and lived in Boston. The award was for a take classes in The Royal Academy of Dramatic Art following her graduation from Kenyon College. Janney became a television star in 1999 playing C. J. Cregg who played the character in the political drama NBC's The West Wing (1999 to the year 2006), where she won the award for four Primetime Emmy Awards. Janney won an award called the Primetime Emmy Award in 2014 for Outstanding Actresses in Drama Series. She was awarded this award for her role as Margaret Scully in Showtime's drama Masters of Sex. Janney has been nominated for the prestigious six Primetime Emmy Awards, and she won twice the Outstanding Supporting Actress in Comedy Series.
