Anna Silk

Anna Silk is a Canadian actress who was born on the 31st of January 1974. She is best known as Bo on the Showcase television series Lost Girl. Silk was born in Fredericton, New Brunswick Canada. Ilkay Silk and Peter Silk were the fathers of Silk. Ilkay is a playwright and director and plays the role of drama instructor on the drama department at St. Thomas University. Her father is British and her mother a Turkish-Cypriot-English expat. Anna holds some of her earliest memories of watching and attending rehearsals for performances. Silk starred in numerous commercials for kids. She was in 1997 when she earned an associate's degree from St. Thomas University. Theatre St. Thomas staged at least 2 early plays: Seven Menus & The Kitchen. Silk relocated from Toronto in November 1999, to Los Angeles California to pursue her career as an actor. Seth Cooperman is her future spouse, whom she was introduced to in Los Angeles at an Actors training. They got married in December 2009 in a civil wedding ceremony. In April of 2011, they renewed their vows at a Jewish wedding ceremony held in Fredericton following her conversion to Judaism. Silk Cooperman was blessed with her first son Samuel Jerome Cooperman May 2013 Her son Levi Aaron was born on May 13 2016. Silk's work on television has included her part in Being Erica as Cassidy Holland in which she was awarded an Gemini Awards nod in 2009. Silk was cast in the role of Bo Dennis the succubus on the Canadian television series Lost Girl in 2009. Silk revealed to her followers that she was pregnant at the beginning of January 2013, during an episode of Showcase Season Three Special. Silk confirmed via Twitter on June 20th, 2013 that the show was coming back in its production. Season Four debuted on June 4th 2013 by Showcase and Prodigy Pictures. Her portrayal of Bo and Lauren (Zoie Palmer) as lovers with the same gender in the show Lost Girl was named one of the all-time Top Television Couples by CNN (Cable News Network) and declared Top Television Couple in 2013. The same was done by E! Entertainment Television. Silk has an enormous online fan base on Facebook and Twitter, as a direct consequence of its popularity.
